THE WORK SCOPE
Site & structure evaluation & inspection & bringing out deficiencies, lapses, Inferior quality usage or workmanship etc.: To visit the site for structural inspection of the Structure for distress / corrosion / sagging, buckling, Damages etc. to assess the cause of distress. Perform overall visual inspections on the above structures. This inspection will be extensive on all the structural members from outside and from inside. To verify the present loading pattern, effect of distress level on it.
- Study the existing drawings (if any), verifying reinforcement/ steel members’ arrangements, conduct various testing’s like Ultrasonic Pulse Velocity Test, Rebound Hammer Test, Corrosion Potential Mapping Test, carbonation depth plotting, Core test and chemical test and to arrive on its effect and, rebar mapping of existing RCC Members. The detail test methodology for each test to be conducted is enclosed with this proposal.
- to carry out structural survey. These NDT will be done at the most critical areas and at all the locations where cracks or corrosion might be suspected.
- Preparation of detail report for observation & distress, structure, structural member wise.
- Suggest remedial / corrective action.: Recommendations for repairs and strengthening with specifications and Application methodology for strengthening work.
- Submission of Repair Philosophy with Good for construction/strengthening Drawings for strengthening measures with methodology of Construction.
A comprehensive report will be given together with NDT results and the dimensional results.
This report deals with theStructural Health Assessment with Non Destructive Testing At Cosmo Films Ltd. Limited At Waluj Plant, Aurangabad anddoes not cover the following
- State of all the services – electrical, mechanical, communication, etc. System
- Study of piping, equipment at Cosmo Films Ltd. at Waluj Plant.
- Preparation of Fabrication drawings
Any other activities which are not mentioned in this report are beyond preview of scope.
