Consultancy for Structural Stability testing for Reactor Tower Steel & Civil Structures,
To carry out Structural Stability testing for Reactor Tower Steel & Civil Structures, Having Height about 117metres, at JSW Steel, Salav. Party shall visit JWS Salav, for visual survey and study of all possible structural members of steel structure along with available drawings. To visit the site for structural inspection of the Structure for distress / corrosion /sagging, buckling, Damages etc. to assess the cause of distress. Perform overall visual inspections on the Reactor Tower structure. This inspection will be extensive on all the structural members. Following Is the Scope for "Stability Test for Concrete Structure"
Visual inspection of Concrete for various defects like honeycombing & the cracking pattern, etc
To Carry Out Ultra pulse velocity for the integrity of RCC structures
To Carry Out the Rebound Hammer Test of the Concrete Structure -Rebound hammer test to identify the surface characteristics with guidelines on strength.Study of Steel Condition Inside Concrete - Corrosion test (Half-cell potential test) to observe the initial process of corrosion.
Study the existing drawings (if any), verifying reinforcement/ steel member’s arrangements, conduct various testing’s like Rebound Hammer Test, Ultrasonic Pulse Velocity Test, and Corrosion Test, of existing Members etc. to arrive on its effect. The detail test methodology for each test to be conducted is provided and also explained at site prior to the start of the works.
